One of the most uncomfortable feelings you can experience is waking up in the middle of the night on a camping trip and feeling cold. This is an experience I hate. There is little that you can do at this point to raise your body temperature, apart from donning an extra pair of socks, a wool cap, and cracking a couple of hand warmers. With a little preparation you could insulate your tent for cool weather so you stay warm and dry throughout the night.
